GUWAHATI, Aug 14 � Food Corporation of India (FCI) Sports Club scored their first victory in this season�s GSA Super Division Football League for RG Baruah Trophy today.
In a well contested match at the Nehru Stadium here, FCI beat Green Valley Sports Club by the barest of margin.
Substitute striker Thomson Langthasa netted the match winning goal in the 72nd minute.
Now FCI has collected five points from six matches while Green Valley has four points from as many outings.
Both the teams today adopted attacking tactics but failed to hit the target. George Prince of Green Valley and David March Gayari, Kailash Gogoi, Birdwm Basumatary of FCI missed some easy sitters in the match.
