UDALGURI, Nov 3 � FCI Sports Club, Guwahati entered the final of ongoing 20th Upen Brahma Gold Cup football tournament being played here at Udalguri Stadium defeating Jaraguri Sports Club of Gossaingaon 4-1.
It was Biswamitra Basumatary, the star striker of the FCI who netted three goals in the match dominating from the very beginning.
He scored the first goal in the 17th minute and FCI maintained the lead till the break. After changing over Biswamitra netted two snap goals in the 65th and 66th minutes. David Goyary was other FCI scorer who netted in the 33rd minute. Rahul Dhar was the lone scorer for the losing team who netted in the 64th minute.
The final match will be played on November 5 between FCI Sports Club and the ASEB, Guwahati.
