FCI down AP Blues 3-1

GUWAHATI, Aug 23 � Food Corporation of India (FCI) scored a good victory when they beat Assam Police Blues 3-1 in the RG Baruah Super Division Football Tournament at the Nehru Stadium here today. Imli Toshi gave FCI the lead in the 34th minute. Just two minutes later, Lalding Hata struck for FCI to make it 2-0.

After the break, the policemen closed the gap when Robijit Jigdung found the back of the net in the 52nd minute. But he hopes of the police team faded away when FCI�s Thomas Langthasa scored the third goal for his team in the 76th minute.
