SILCHAR, Sept 9 - Jakir Hussain, father of an 11-year-old vocally challenged girl has complained of police inaction regarding arrest of Saddam Hussain, who raped his daughter.
Hussain, a resident of Jagadishpur under Katigorah constituency of Cachar district lamented, �my daughter was raped by Saddam, who happens to be her uncle, on April 14 last by taking advantage of our absence. But despite registering an FIR and repeated appeals, even after four months having elapsed, the police at Katigorah have taken no initiative to trace out the absconding culprit.�
On the other hand, Cachar SP Rakesh Roushan claimed that police was doing their best to find out the absconding rapist.
