IMPHAL, June 28 - Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh yesterday inaugurated the Court of Additional Session Judge (fast-track court) for crimes against women at Lamphelpat here.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Singh said with rise in crimes against women, a fast-track court was needed to deal with such cases and to deliver justice without delay.
The function was attended by Manipur High Court Chief Justice Rakesh Ranjan, State Law Minister L Jayantakumar Singh, other judges of the high court and Advocate General of Manipur. � PTI
