DHUBRI, June 5 - The District and Sessions Judge Dhubri on Tuesday inaugrated a family court at 2nd Police Point, to deal with family-related cases. It was informed that the court under the Principal Judge of family court, will deal mainly matrimonial cases under 125 CrPC, comprising almost 20 per cent of cases under the Dhubri court.
� As a large chunk of cases from CJM, Addl CJM, JMFC and other courts to the family courts the burden over these courts will be relaxed to a great extent,� said Aminul Islam, secretary of Dhubri Bar Association. He also said that this has been a long-term demand of the people of Dhubri to have a separate family court �and with the court functioning from today the people of the district will be greatly benefitted�.
