SILCHAR, June 30 - Curiosity prevailed in Silchar Medical College and Hospital after two youths were caught while entering the Department of Surgery in the guise of doctors.
According to sources, two youths identified as Toibur Rahman Choudhury, a resident of Lakhipur and Rafiq Ali from Borkhola entered the hospital as doctors. However, the duo were arrested after their movement was suspected by the staff of the hospital. Later, they were handed over to police.
Meanwhile, in reply to a question on the internal security arrangement of the hospital, Dr AS Baishya, Superintendent of Silchar Medical College and Hospital claimed that it is because of the heightened security measures that the fake doctors were not allowed to trespass.
