GUWAHATI, April 9 - Kolkata police arrested a fake doctor identified as Mithun Choudhury in Guwahati today.
Choudhury has been allegedly using the name and Medical Council of India registration number of a doctor by his name in Bhavanipur of Kolkata. A case was registered at the Bhavanipur police station.
Panbazar ACP Suprativ Lal Barua said Choudhury has just begun working at a hospital in the city. �The hospital authorities discovered the fraud and handed him over to us. Kolkata police has taken custody of the accused and taken him to Bhavanipur,� Barua said.
