Fairyland School make it to final

GUWAHATI, Nov 13 - Fairyland School made it to the final of the RGS Little Master�s U-13 Inter School Cricket Tournament defeating Assam Valley School, Tezpur by 78 runs in the second semifinal today.

Electing to bat Fairyland boys piled up 179 runs losing 10 wickets in 20 overs. Rohan Chetri scored 87 runs off just 55 balls while Jyotishman Goswami scored 50 runs off 35 balls. Keshav Garodia took 3 wickets for 34 runs while Krishnam Agarwal and Kushal Garodia took 2 wickets each for Assam Valley School.

In reply Assam Valley School were� bowled out for just 101 runs in 19.1 overs. Kushal Garodia scored 30 runs off 29 balls while Nihal Jajodia contributed 22 runs off 18 balls. Jyotishman took 2 vital wickets giving away 10 runs only in his 4 over spell. On the other hand Shubham Chand Kaushik and Hemanga Kalita took 2 wickets each for Fairyland.

Now Fairyland School will face Faculty High School, Geetanagar in the final to be played on Thursday.

In the play-off match for the third position played in the afternoon host Royal Global School Blue team defeated Assam Valley School Tezpur by 6 wickets.
