GUWAHATI, May 31 � Riding on a superb all round show by Atul Kumar Singh, hosts Fairyland High School trounced South Point School by 37 runs to emerge champions in the Krishna Chetri Memorial U-14/15 Inter School Cricket Championship.

In the title clash at the Dispur Parade Ground today, put into bat Fairyland notched up 105 for the loss of eight wickets in the stipulated 25 overs. Atul cracked 52-ball 44.

Chasing the moderate target, South Point boys were all out for a meagre 68 in 18 overs.

Atul was selected for both the men-of-the-match and man-of-the-series titles.

Brief scores: Fairyland 105/8 (Atul Kumar Singh 44, Dhruvraj Bora 3/22, Himjyoti Sarma 2/14). South Point 68 (Bishal Raktim Sarma 16, Muktar Hussain 3/8, Atul Kr Singh 2/16, Ajay Kr Pandit 2/14).
