GUWAHATI, Nov 12 - Faculty High School, Guwahati defeated hosts Royal Global School (Blue) by six runs to enter the final of the RGS Little Master�s U-13 Inter School Cricket Tournament today.
Opting to bat first, Faculty boys piled up a challenging total of 146 runs losing five wickets in 20 overs. Kaustav Medhi scored an unbeaten 79 runs off just 61 balls. Kartavya Jain, Dev Tiwari and Shyam Sharma took one wicket each for Royal Global School.
In reply, Royal Global School fell short by six runs as they managed to score 140 runs losing six wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. Mohak Nahata scored 34 runs while Tanmay Baid scored 31 runs for Royal Global School. Abhilash R Khaund took two wickets giving away 19 runs while Prem B Tamang took one wicket giving away 23 runs for Faculty High School.
