GUWAHATI, Feb 27 � The selection committee of East Zone today announced the 16-member team for the limited over Deodhar Trophy match.
The selection committee meeting, convened by Assam Cricket Association secretary Bikash Baruah at Bhubaneswar, named Orissa veteran Debashis Mohanty as captain of the team. The selection panel, however, did not include India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sourav Ganguly in the team. East will paly North in the semifinal on March 7 at Vodadora.
The team members are: Debashis Mohanty (Capt.), Shribatsa Goswami, Dhiraj Jadhav, Paresh Patel, Manoj Tiwari, Ishank Jaggi, Sourav Tiwari, Parvez Aziz, Wridhiman Saha, Haladhar Das, Ranadev Bose, Ashok Dinda, Rakesh Mohanty, Dhiraj Goswami, Tushar Saha, V Arron.
