GUWAHATI, Oct 13 - The Gauhati High Court, in response to a writ petition filed by the Tax Bar Association, Guwahati, has directed the Central Board of Direct Taxes to extend the due date for submission of tax audit report to October 25.
The High Court has allowed the association to file a second petition if the due date is not extended to its satisfaction by the Central Board of Direct Taxes, a press release stated.
