The exhibition is aimed at generating awareness on various building materials in terms of their use, utility and cost. A special counter will be opened to guide general public about the common issues related to building construction by city-based senior architects.

The event is so organised that it will provide an opportunity to all stakeholders of the construction industry to gather under one roof, with an aim at helping them identify newer suppliers, witness latest innovations and exchange ideas through interactions, said the organisers.

It needs mention here that the Assam Chapter of the IIA is taking initiatives mainly to help the youth of the State to achieve their career-related aspirations in architectural education and provide guidance and encouragement to them in matters of their professional development. At the same time, the Chapter is also trying to generate awareness among the common people on the professional conduct of the architects and the use of various materials in construction industries.
