GUWAHATI, June 28 - Veteran artist Benu Misra and artist-photographer Labu Senapati will showcase their art works at a three-day exhibition of drawings, graphics, bonsai and woodworks to be held at Surjya Club on CK Agarwalla Road here from July 2.
The show, �Sristi 2016�, will be inaugurated by eminent folklorist Dr Birendranath Datta. It will remain open between 11 am and 7 pm every day.
About 30 drawings and graphics by Misra will be on display. Over 40 bonsai items comprising Ficus Ramphii, Ficus Benjamina, Scheflerra Arbocolla, Juniper etc., nurtured by Senapati for decades, will be displayed at the exhibition, a statement said.
Nearly two decades back, both the creative geniuses of Assam mounted a joint exhibition in the city, where Misra�s paintings and Senapati�s bonsai works were showcased.
