IMPHAL, April 4 - Former Manipur Chief Minister Radhabinod Koijam has resigned from the primary membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

This was announced by the former CM at a press conference here today.

The veteran politician who represented the Thangmeiband Assembly constituency in Imphal West district for the fifth time, said that the move is to quit active politics. Seventy five year-old Koijam joined BJP in 2014.
