Ex-gratia to road mishap victims

IMPHAL, March 28 - Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of the 22 victims who died in three road mishaps yesterday. Singh also announced a sum of Rs 50,000 and Rs 30,000 for those with serious and minor injuries respectively, a statement issued by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) said yesterday. 19 people died and 44 injured in three accidents yesterday at Chakhumai and Lairouching areas in Senapati district and Khongsang in Tamenglong district respectively. � PTI
