GUWAHATI, July 22 - Cottonian 82, an association of former students of the 1982 batch of Cotton College (now Cotton University), recently organised a medical camp for flood-affected people of Panikhaiti on the outskirts of the city.
Dr Rajani Das and Dr Jogen Mazumdar conducted the medical camp where free medicines were also distributed to the flood-affected people.
In addition, members of the alumni association also distributed rice, lentils, puffed rice, flour, biscuits, milk packets and water bottles among the affected villagers.
Another health camp was also conducted at Manahkuchi, near Hajo, for the flood victims.
