DIPHU, June 7 - The Karbi Anglong district administration under the initiative of Mukul Chandra Gogoi, Deputy Commissioner, warmly welcomed and felicitated Khorsing Terang, who recently scaled Mount Everest.
Khorsing Terang was warmly welcomed and felicitated at various places beginning from Parokhowa to Diphu, soon after he reached Karbi Anglong,
Terang was received by the officials of the district administration at Parokhowa and later, he interacted with the students of Parokhowa HS School at around 10 am. Subsequently, he was warmly felicitated by the people of Diphu and his well-wishers.
Meanwhile, Terang has thanked the public and his well-wishers for encouraging him.
