GUWAHATI, July 6 - Sarada Sangeet Vidyapeeth and PKB Agro Industries Pvt Ltd., in collaboration with Sangeet Natak Akademi, are organising �The Soul of East�, a concert cum workshop on Baul music at the ITA Machkhowa here on July 7 and 8.
Renowned Baul artistes will perform at the event, which is being supported by the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, SBI, Star Cement and South Point School. Radio Gup Shup is the radio partner, while Barn Owl Creations is the event partner.
The Baul workshop will be conducted under the aegis of Satyananda Das Baul and Lakhhan Das Baul, supported by Swapan Adhikari and a team of established local faculties, said a press release.
