GUWAHATI, May 31 - Shrutinaad, a city-based organisation for promotion of music and culture, is organising an evening of music at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra here on June 2 on the occasion of the 86th birth anniversary of singer, lyricist, composer and tabla player Bibekananda Bhattacharyya.
The birth anniversary of Bibekananda Bhattacharyya, who was recently conferred with the title �Sangeetjyoti�, falls on May 28 and due to unavoidable reasons the evening of music is being held on June 2 that is also the 122nd birthday of his father �Bauli Kabi� Kamalananda Bhattacharyya.
The memorial music evening will see rendition of songs and recitation of poems of these two stalwarts.
