GUWAHATI, June 30 - The Eva Asao Memorial Award, which was scheduled to be presented on June 24, will now be given away in a programme to be held on July 3.
The function will be held at the Bishnu Nirmala Bhawan near Latasil playground at 4 pm. It will be addressed by Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi, who will also present the award to stage and film actress Purnima Pathak Saikia.
The award is being presented by socio-cultural organisation Anuprerona. The meeting will be presided over by senior journalist DN Chakravartty.
