�Eronet� to be launched in State on Aug 28

GUWAHATI, Aug 25 - The Election Commission of India has introduced a new internet-based portal/software �eronet� for facilitation of various activities relating to electoral rolls such as the inclusion, deletion, correction and transfer of names, including providing the new photo identity cards. The new software has already been introduced in different states of India. This software will be launched in Assam on August 28, said an official press release here today.
