DIPHU, Nov 11 - Braving inclement weather, students from Diphu, Howraghat and Bakalia participated in the Radha Govinda Baruah Memorial Art Competition 2019 organised by the Assam Tribune Sports Club at Diphu Club here on Sunday.
As per the official itinerary, the art competition was inaugurated by senior journalist Nagen Bora. During the inaugural function, the first Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) from Karbi Anglong Saitendra Terang, Joysing Tokbi, secretary of Diphu Club and Kola Kendra Dilip Das and Dhani Kalita, a social worker, were present.
In his inaugural address, Nagen Bora spoke elaborately on Singhapurush Radha Govinda Baruah.
Addressing the students, he urged them to play a proactive role in future so that they can contribute to shape society anew through their collective endeavour.
