Bolt�s agent Rick Simms said the runner was not �confirmed� to take part in the Jamaican trials for Beijing, but had signed up only �to have the option� to run.
The world record-holder was expected to vie with Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake, Kemar Bailey-Cole, Nesta Carter and Nickel Ashmeade at the senior championship in Kingston, the Jamaica Observer newspaper reported Friday.
A spokeswoman for the JAAA declined to provide more details on Bolt�s withdrawal.

Dubai, June 28 (PTI): The ICC today confirmed that it had received a letter from Lalit Modi in 2013 in which the former IPL Commissioner alleged that three players were bribed by a business tycoon.
London-based Modi yesterday tweeted a letter, which he claims to have written to ICC CEO Dave Richardson in June 2013, passing on �some information� regarding the alleged involvement of two leading Indian cricketers and a West Indian player received cash and kind from the businessman.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) today posted a statement on its website regarding the e-mail and clarified that it acted as per standard procedure.
