GUWAHATI, March 14 � Defending champions IST-Gauhati University along with Tezpur Central University, Assam Engineering College and Regional Institute of Science and Technology (RIST) reached the semifinal stage of the fourth Inter- Engineering NEFTi T-20 Cricket Tournament, organized by the North East Forum for Technical Institutions at NITS Mirza.

In the first semifinal, defending champion IST-Gauhati University will meet Tezpur Central University while in the second semifinal, RIST will take on 2012 and 2013 champions and last year�s runners-up Assam Engineering College tomorrow.

The final match of the tournament will be played on March 16 from 10.00am at NITS Mirza. Ten AICTE approved technical institutions took part in the tournament, stated a release.
