GUWAHATI, March 8 - The Gauhati High Court has refused to grant the anticipatory bail to all the six Enforcement officials who have been asked to appear before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with the illegal coal syndicate probe.

The Court of Justice Hitesh Sarma, after hearing the arguments and counter arguments, refused the privilege of pre-arrest bail and instead called for the case diary on March 20.

The officials are enforcement inspector Chitra Kumar Nath, assistant enforcement inspectors Tapuram Bora, Anurag Sandilya and Bedanta Gogoi.

The other two officers are Madhab Neog and Mrigendra Sarma, both enforcement checkers.
