GUWAHATI, Jan 20 - ONGC Assam Asset is observing Saksham-2018, a month-long mass awareness campaign on energy conservation with the theme, �Indhan Sanrakshan Ki Mimmadari, Jan Gan Ki Bhagidari�. This was stated in a press release.
As part of Saksham, ONGC has devised various campaigns among employees, families and school children from January 16 to February 15, 2018. Under the directive of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, through this campaign, ONGC aims to spread awareness among masses for judicious utilisation and conservation of petroleum products and encourage use of energy efficient appliances.
At the inaugural ceremony, SD Maske, Asset Manager, ONGC Assam Asset administered the �Saksham Pledge� to the employees. Maske, in his message, emphasised that energy conservation is within our control and it should be part of our culture and habit and even small savings at individual level can contribute in a massive way at the national level.
