GUWAHATI, Jan 25 - Electronic Media Forum Assam (EMFA) has decided to organize EMFA Media Awards 2012 and 2013 in the first half of April this year. In a meeting held at Guwahati Press Club�on Thursday, the forum also invited entries for its annual awards for the year 2013.
The entries either in CD or DVD format, which must have been telecasted through satellite channels during the period of January 1 to December 31, 2013, should be deposited at EMFA office desk through Guwahati Press Club by February 10, said a statement from the secretary of the forum Bimal Ghosh.
In another decision, the meeting resolved to allow the non-news-based channels of Assam to take part in the awards ceremony. �The complete list for the EMFA Awards 2012 has already been finalized. The award function for the year 2012 could not be organized due to some unavoidable reasons,� added the statement.
