UDALGURI, Nov 15 - Eleven Star (Blue Star) FC of Bongaigaon entered the final of the silver jubilee edition of the Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma Gold Cup Football Tournament thrashing Salbagan FC of Gossaingaon 5-0 in the semifinal at the Udalguri Stadium today.
In the completely one sided encounter, the Blue Star boys dominated throughout the match. It was Blue Star striker Kapil Das who broke the deadlock in the 16th minute.
After the lemon break, Hirakjyoti Basumatary added two more to make it 3-0 by scoring in the 73rd and 79th minute respectively. Sukur Singh struck twice in the 91st and 92nd minute to complete the rout.
In the final, Eleven Star (Blue Star) will lock horns with Oil India FC, Duliajan on November 19.
