TINSUKIA, March 14 - KR Abhisekananda Rao, an officer from Andhra Pradesh, has arrived at Tinsukia as Election Expenditure Observer for 122-Tinsukia, 123-Digboi and 125-Doomdooma LACs. He has met the officers of Flying Squad, Static Surveillance, Media Cell Video Viewing team etc., at the conference hall of the DC�s office complex on Sunday and interacted with them.

Effigies burnt: The political parties of Tinsukia district jointly burnt effigies of BJP�s State president Sarbananda Sonowal protesting against his silence over the alleged communal remarks made by Dibrugarh MP Rameswer Teli. The activists ATASU, SAMYCP, AHSU etc., have burnt the effigies at Thana Chariali here on Sunday demanding that the State BJP chief should take action against the Dibrugarh MP else they would not allow electioneering campaign of the party in the State.
