GUWAHATI, July 28 - The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) has said that it continues to adhere to the �Ekla Chalo� policy and there is no question of having any secret understanding with the BJP.
In a statement, AIUDF general secretary and MLA Hafiz Bashir Ahmed Kasimi said that since its inception the Badruddin Ajmal-led party has maintained equidistance from both the Congress and the BJP.
�We have always maintained equidistance from the corrupt Congress and the communal BJP and we continue to maintain our stand. There is no question of having an understanding with the BJP. Our party follows the policy of �Ekla Chalo�,� he said.
Kasimi called upon the people to refrain from believing statements made to the contrary about the AIUDF by other organizations.
