NORTH LAKHIMPUR, May 31 - Eight brilliant students brought laurels to Lakhimpur district in the HSLC-2016 examination, results of which were declared today.
While Jyotirmoy Dutta of Udhastha High School, Bihpuria secured the 3rd position with 586 marks, Debashish Dutta of St Mary�s School, North Lakhimpur secured the 4th position with total marks of 584. Another 4th rank holder in the district is Kaushtav Duwara of Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Simaluguri with 584 marks.
Pritam Borah of Khora High School, Bihpuria secured the 9th position with 577 marks. Abhimanyu Giri of St Mary�s School, North Lakhimpur got the 14th rank while Jyoti Sikha Bhuyan of St Mary�s School and Iftiqar Zaman of Brookfield School, North Lakhimpur shared the 15th position. St Mary�s School got another rank with Chayanika Gogoi who earned the 20th position in the examination. This brilliant result has created a tremendous enthusiasm among the students, parents and the academic circles of Lakhimpur district.
