SIVASAGAR, Feb 15 - Former principal of Bezbaruah HS School, vice president of Sivasagar Natya Samaj and one of the prominent sports organisers of the State, Prasanna Kumar Baruah (78), died at his Sankar Mandir Road residence here this afternoon. He had been suffering from a protracted illness.
He leaves behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives.
Sivasagar Natya Samaj, Sivasagar Bezbaruah HS School, Rongpur Sahitya Sabha, Sivasagar Sports Association, Barowari Puja Samity, Sri Sri Sankardev Samaj Namghar and many other organisations have mourned the demise of Baruah.
