GUWAHATI, Dec 2 - The Mines and Minerals Department, Assam, will soon e-auction the granite reserve discovered on the Dudhkuri hills near Boko in Kamrup district.
The site of the granite rock has already been explored and estimated by the Directorate of Geology and Mining. A team comprising VS Bhaskar, Additional Chief Secretary to the Govt of Assam, Mines and Minerals Department; GS Panesar, Director of Geology and Mining, Assam and Anupam Phukan, senior geologist at the directorate, visited the site recently, an official release said.
