TIHU, Sept 29 - The 114th edition of Sri Sri Durga Puja festival of Tihu got under way on Tuesday.
The five-day-long puja celebration started on Tuesday and includes drawing contest, dhulia, puspanjali, dance contest, ayatir naam contest, open meeting, felicitation, releasing of souvenir and �Ravana Dah Kritya� which will be inaugurated by Hrishikesh Goswami, press advisor, Chief Minister of Assam.
Ganesh Tamuli chairman, NE Cancer Hospitals, Pabindra Deka, MLA, Patacharkuchi, Dr Kishor Kr Talukdar, Principal, Tihu College, Kailash Lohiya, chairman, Lohiya Group, Jayanta Malla Barua, Chairman, Assam Tourism and Dr Paramananda Rajbongshi, chief secretary, Asam Sahitya Sabha will grace the open meeting.
