DU signs MoU with Delhi-based group

DIBRUGARH, Jan 9 - A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Dibrugarh University and the Khan Study Group, New Delhi to offer professional coaching programmes for preparation of civil services examinations and various other competitive examinations to the students of the north-eastern region in a PPP (Private Public Partnership) mode.

Professor Mrinalendra Narayan Dutta, Registrar, Dibrugarh University and Aslam Raja Khan of Khan Study Group, New Delhi signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. As per the agreement, the University will provide the necessary infrastructure to carry out the coaching programmes and KSG, a leading institute which offers quality coaching for entry into services examinations situated in New Delhi having their branches at several cities of the country, will provide various resource persons, study materials and other support.

There will be two different courses to be offered, one is coaching programme, exclusively for the preparation of civil services examinations and the other is short duration courses meant for entry to all Type-II level services examinations like Bank, Insurance, Railways, SSCs, Postal, other State and Central Government examinations, PSUs etc. The duration of both the programmes will be approximately four months and one-and-a-half months respectively. The interested candidates may contact Dr Chimun Kumar Nath of Dibrugarh University or Aslam Raza Khan of KSG, New Delhi. Both the programmes are scheduled to begin from the third week of February, 2016, the authorities informed.
