GUWAHATI, Aug 5 - The DTO, Kamrup Metro has asked all vehicle owners to affix high security registration plate (HSRP) in their vehicles.
As per the Supreme Court verdict making it compulsory to affix HSRP in all the vehicles, the District Transport Office (Registration and Licensing), Kamrup Metro has taken initiative to affix HSRP phase-wise in all the vehicles in Kamrup Metro, an official statement said.
As part of it, the DTO has asked all owners of motor vehicles registered after January 1, 2007, to approach the HSRP affixation centres and get such registration plates for their vehicles.
