NAGAON, June 2 - Nagaon town police arrested a wanted drug peddler from Kawaimari village under Haiborgaon town Police Outpost recently.
The apprehended man has been identified as Moinul Haque of Kawaimari village. The police was trying to trace him out since a long time even as he had been continuing with his business of selling drugs in the district through some secret outlets in the entire district.
Sources claimed that he was even involved in the wholesale business of the banned drugs and had allegedly spread his business even to the neighbouring districts.
Money snatched: Two motorcycle-borne miscreants recently snatched Rs 6 lakh from a person in front of the Nagaon Circuit House.
The victim named Shahnaj Jafar of Puranigudam area withdrew the money from Nagaon SBI branch. � A Correspondent
