GUWAHATI, June 4 - The Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA) recently organised an open drawing and painting competition on the focal theme �Air Pollution� as part of its World Environment Day celebration.

The competition was held in four categories on three sub-themes: �Nature Around You or Air Pollution�, �Sources of Air Pollution� and �What We Can do It to Beat Air Pollution�.

The first prize winners in different categories of the competition were Anie Kashyap from Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School in Group A, Sagarika Sarania from Guwahati Public School in Group B, Himangshu Roy from Guwahati Public School in Group C and Dristima Deka from Government BDS Deaf and Dumb School in Group D.
