DIBRUGARH, Sept 20 - Nilakanthi, a novel based on the conjugal life story of distinguished educationists Dr Ananda Bormudoi and Late literrateur Purobi Bormudoi was released on Thursday by noted writer Dr Nagen Saikia.
For about 14 years Dr Bormudoi rendered unbelievable service to his love due to which Purobi Bormudoi was able to serve Assamese literature through her series of novels, stories and poems.
The novel Nilakanthi is written by novelist Bishwajyoti Sharma.
Dr Ananda Bormudoi and Dr Karabi Deka Hazarika attended as special guests.
