GUWAHATI, March 24 - Rishideep Bordoloi of Duliajan and Trailokya Nanda of Jorhat shared the lead with 4 points each after completion of the fourth round of the 2nd Assam Down Town University All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament here today.
They are followed by a group of seven players with 3.5 points each.
The tournament, organised by the Rotary Club, Dispur was inaugurated by International Master Atanu Lahiri of West Bengal on March 22. Utpal Hazarika, secretary, Rotary Club of Dispur, Dr Devajit Sharma, organising president and Biswajit Bharadwaj, secretary, All Assam Chess Association were also present in the opening ceremony. A total of Rs 1,50,000 will be distributed as prize money in the tournament.
