GUWAHATI, Feb 14 � Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) paddlers continued their domination in the OIL 71st Senior National and Inter State Table Tennis Championship at the Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium here today.
In the open category�s doubles finals, it will be an all PSPB affair in both men�s and women�s sections.
Two pairs of PSPB have made it to the semifinals with Soumyadeep Roy and his partner Zubin Kumar defeating Maharashtra A pair Aniket Koparkar and Sanil Shetty 11-9, 11-6, 11-6. In the other semifinal, A Sharath Kamal � Subhajit Saha downed Sourav Chakraborty � Arindam Nandi of Bengal 11-3, 11-9, 11-5 in an one-sided affair.
In the women�s doubles, out of four pairs, three were from PSPB. Pooja Sahasrabudhe and Divya Despande beat their PSPB opponent Soumi Mandal � Mousumi Paul 8-11, 11-3, 11-7, 11-8 in the first semifinal, while in the second encounter, Madhurika Patkar and K Shamini outsmarted West Bengal duo Mauma Das and Pallavi Kundu 9-11, 11-9, 11-6, 11-2.

Atkinson inspects Kotla pitch
New Delhi, Feb 14 (PTI): ICC�s chief pitch consultant Andy Atkinson today inspected the Feroze Shah Kotla pitch which was banned for one year from hosting international matches after the abandoned India-Sri Lanka game here last year.
