GUWAHATI, July 26 - Bhicky Sagolshem of Manipur and Shimreen Ahamed of West Bengal clinched double crown in the U-14 boys and girls events respectively of the OIL-AITA Super Series Tennis Championship which concluded today at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex in Chachal here.
In a brief prize distribution ceremony, trophies and certificates were distributed by AATA secretary Ankush Dutta in the presence of AITA referee Saikat Roy.
AATA secretary Dutta informed that under the auspices of All Assam Tennis Association, Jorhat Tennis Club will host two tournaments � Asian Juniors for boys and girls U-14 years and Super Series for boys and girls U-16 years in the third week of August at Jorhat.
Final results: (Boys singles) 2nd�Bhicky Sagolshem (MN) bt 3rd�seed Omar Sumar (MH) 6-3, 7-5. (Girls singles) Top seed Shimreen Ahamed (WB) bt 2nd�seed Ananya Bhatia (GJ) 6-7 (3), 7-6 (3), 6-1.
