GUWAHATI, April 16 - The Kamrup (Metro) district administration in collaboration with the Assam Livestock and Poultry Corporation will start door-to-door distribution of mutton, chicken and eggs in the city from Friday.
Under the initiative, public will get a plate of eggs at Rs 140, one kilogram of dressed and packed chicken at Rs 240 and one kilogram of dressed and packed mutton at Rs 650.
The distribution process will be monitored by a team comprising officials from the Guwahati Municipal Corporation and district animal husbandry and veterinary department.
