DOOMDOOMA, June 29 - The new executive committee of Doomdooma Press Club will be constituted at the 13th biennial general body meeting of DPC on July 1.
On the evening of June 30, the last sitting of the current executive body of DPC will be held. On the following day, flag hoisting and smriti tarpan will be followed by a plantation drive in the campus of Doomdooma FRU Hospital.
From 11.00 am, the general body meeting of the club will be held. Kamal Talukder, vice president of Assam Union of Working Journalists and Manoranjan Moran, acting secretary of Tinsukia District Journalists� Association, besides a few other members of the district journalists� body will be present in the meeting as observers.
