GUWAHATI, March 13 � The Centre for Officers of Petroleum Sector (COPS), an organisation of some retired officers of the petroleum sector donated a cheque of Rs 10,000 and baby food items to Shisu Greh, a recognized Indian placement agency for both in-country and inter-country adoption.
Sishu Greh is recognised by the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) under the Ministry of Women and Child Development and run by Indian Council for Child Welfare, Assam State Branch.
On behalf of COPS, president SN Borah and joint secretary DD Khound were present on the occasion. Ruprekha Mushahary, general secretary, Indian Council for Child Welfare, Assam State Branch along with other committee members received the donation on behalf of Sishu Greh.
