GUWAHATI, July 16 - The 10th All Assam Major Ranking Table Tennis Championship and the 7th All Assam Open Ranking Badminton Championship are being organised by Don Bosco School in collaboration with Don Bosco Alumni, Guwahati Unit under the auspices of Assam Table Tennis Association (ATTA) and Assam Badminton Association (ABA) at the Nihal Singh Thakur Table Tennis Indoor Hall and the Don Bosco Badminton Indoor Stadium from July 17 to 21.
The table tennis championship will be held from July 17 to July 20 while the badminton championship will be held from July 18 to 21.
The entries for participants in table tennis have been received by ATTA from 10 affiliated units including Dibrugarh, Duliajan, Golaghat, Guwahati, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, NFR, OIL and Sivasagar.
The ABA has received entries from 12 affiliated units which include Dibrugarh, Duliajan, Golaghat, Guwahati, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Namrup, Nagaon, NFR, OIL, Silchar, Sivasagar and Tezpur. The tournaments have been sponsored by Best Cements, LICI, Guwahati Refinery, Verma Sports, Donic, Square Sports, Amul, Holsom Bread and Repose.
