Don Bosco storm into final

GUWAHATI, Nov 19 � Don Bosco School, Guwahati dashed into the final of the 5th Sitaram Agarwala Memorial U-16 Inter School Cricket Tournament.

In the first semifinal of the Bud Cricket Club organised championship at the Judges� Field here today, the Bosconinans handed South Point School a eight-wicket drubbing.

Put into bat, South Point were all out for 142 in 27.4 overs in the 40-over match. Apart from Saahil Jain (72, 45 balls, 4X11, 6X3), no other batsman could contribute satisfactorily. Rohan Dutta ripped through the South Point batting line-up removing four scalps.

Chasing the target, the Don Bosco batsmen took 29.1 overs in smashing 143 losing only two wickets. Damien A Sereng top scored with 49 while Erik Roy and Sushanak Bora (33 each) had handsome contributions.
