GUWAHATI, May 7 - The school week of Don Bosco School, Panbazar concluded on May 4, according to a press release issued here today. Activities during the school week included quiz contest, Spell Bee, declamation competition, storytelling contest, chess and carrom competitions, dance and music competitions, mime competition, model United Nations workshop, May Day celebration, club activities, creative writing contest, painting contest, etc.

The school week was inaugurated by the chief guest Suranjana Senapati, the first lady Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA). The highlights of the opening ceremony included a beautiful dance performance by the students of Class 12 and motivational speeches by chief guest Senapati and the Principal Rev Father Sebastian Mathew.

On May 6 the students were given merit certificates by Principal Fr Mathew, the release added.
